【作品介紹 Description】

北投關渡平原是台北市少有的大面積農地，豐年里是舊農業社區，眾多居民世代務農維生，古早從社區一望無際的田野直到捷運建造後被劃分為二，里民以往活動的區域被捷運架立的鐵網所隔絕，現在只剩冰冷網牆和吵雜捷運聲，所以公共建設的便利和生活環境如何衍生變化共存？長達1200公尺的鐵絲牆，雖然隔離接近捷運的危險，但長久存在社區環境中，漸漸變成壅擠的停車空間和垃圾丟置的場所，造成行走的路人產生安全的死角，讓我們不得面對長久累積的生活環境問題。「讓凋零死去的街道再度呼吸。」鐵絲網內擁有豐沃的土壤、充分陽光、針葉樹，與捷運局協商後，保留現有鐵絲網結構原則，設計衍生的結構漸變交錯形成半封閉步道，結合居民的務農經驗，我們種植藤蔓類的植物、蔬果搭配攀附在鐵絲網上，利用植物的抓地性加強結構強度，枝葉佈滿結構體形成有機外觀，提供遮陽、隔音功能，把原本冰冷的鐵絲網再生演化成生態空間，讓居民與旅人步行在這生態走廊裡體驗在地風情。

Guandu Plain is the agricultural acres of a large area are rare in Taipei. The most residents subsisted by farming for many generations in Fengnian Lane, where is an old farming community. There are the endless fields among the community early; until the MRT constructed, the community was divided in two parts. The life space of residents previously was isolated from the iron net set for the MRT. It’s only noise from MRT and the cold iron-net walls remains there. But how can we balance and coexist the public conveniences and living environments? “Let The Dead Streets Breathing Again.”There is the fertile soil, full sun and the conifers behind the wire wall. After the consultation with the MRT authorities, decided to retain the structure of the wire wall, and designing the derived structures to be the staggered and halfway pedestrian. Than put it combined with residents farming experience, and plant vines plants, fruits and vegetables climb over the wire wall. Using the plants grip to strengthen the structure of wall; foliage cover the structure and forming an organic appearance; providing shade, soundproofing, and make the icy wire wall renew and turn it to be an ecological space where for residents and travelers can walk in this ecological corridors to taste the local type.
