【作品介紹 Description】

教堂就像是跨過門檻所看見的另一個世界，不再只是進入一種空間裏面，它被賦予了一種傳遞信仰的使命，而建築也開始成為信仰的化身，為我們開啟另一條道路。隨著空間一路的引領，直到最後一層，建築也不再有著屋頂的存在，因為你會發現離人最接近的其實就是那片廣闊的天際，也因此信仰將又回歸於自然之中。 建築主要探討的是以三角形為空間構成元素，在三角空間裏我們可以同時感覺到空間的寬與窄，也因為我們知道窄的不好用所以才能更珍惜寬的空間，所以透過由窄到寬的空間形式傳達了信仰要告訴我們的，那就是珍惜。同時也透過寬與窄暗喻著人都必須要經過社會上的窄化，才能對於自己的生命上的道德有所成長。 然而建築在這裏不再只是個場所，它開始用它的空間性來告訴我們信仰所要傳達的事情，那些窄的、壓縮的、慢慢密合的，都將讓人更深刻的感覺到空間真正的釋放。

The church resembles another world seen from across the doorsill, which is not only the entrance to space but given with the mission of passing on religion. The architecture itself also becomes the image of religion, which opens a path for us. Following the lead along the space to the last layer is a building without existence of room. You will discover that the vast sky is actually the closest to human, restoring religion back to nature. The architecture primarily discusses triangular-based elements of space composition. We could concurrently experience the width and narrowness inside the triangular space because of inconvenience with narrow space and cherishing of the wide space. The spatial formality from narrow to wide conveys the message of cherishing as delivered by religion. In the meantime, the formality of narrow and wide provides a metaphor of people needing to undergo social narrowing to attain ethical growth in life.
