【作品介紹 Description】

水母鞋以水母漂移時產生形變為靈感，設計而成可隨腳形變化的休閒鞋。鞋面透過網狀切割達到的網狀拉伸效果，具有包覆變形的特性，穿著時可貼附使用者腳面拉伸變形，脫下後則恢復原本扁平狀態。拉伸時產生的扭轉曲面，具有生物體的有機美感，並且根據不同使用者的腳型而產生獨特的形狀。本設計希望從生產運送到使用者使用、收納作整體的考量。水母鞋的扁平形態可將體積最小化，在運送與包裝上減少體積與包裝耗費，最後產品可由使用者自行簡單組裝。若需要收納至較小空間，如出遊時的行李打包，可再拆解成扁平狀收納攜帶。除了在功能上具有便利性與環保考量，其拉伸形變的動態過程也能讓使用者在使用過程中有參與感而充滿樂趣。

In the Nature, creatures change their shapes to achieve a variety of survival purposes. In this project, the movement of jellyfish is translated into a design element. “JellyFiShoe” is a pair of flexible silicone shoes which can transform accordance with user’s foot softly. By parallel cutting on the vamp, it is tensile and is able to be changed from flat to any shape which fit user’s foot. It not only can achieve the storage and shipping convenience, but can also lead to a pleasant using experience.Under consideration of product life cycle, JellyFiShoeis designed to be easily assembled and taken apart to be its original flat shape by user. The idea of transformable not only can simplify the product itself to reduce pollution in manufacture, packing and distribution, but also gives fun using experience to the user. Furthermore, to those who live in small apartment or travel all the time, JellyFiShoe can be a helpful product because it is easy to storage in limited space and packing during trips. The whole shoe is made from single eco-friendly material, so it can be recycled easily.
