突發性災難與重大事故發生時會產生大量的傷患,現有的救難方式受限於救難器具及地形等問題的限制,需採取團隊救難方式運作。突發性的災難來說,無法立即投入大量的救援人力,造成救難員與受難傷患人數不成比例,無法達到有效率的救援行動,造成錯過黃金的救難時間。 救難單位由團隊改為個人。救難器材去蕪存菁的保留最重要的結構,產品體積縮減至個人可攜帶尺寸與重量。突破現有救難擔架的侷限,需要”最少”兩個人的使用問題。將個人救難行為提升至比團隊救難行更具效率與速度,讓救難的黃金時間內達到更高的救援比例。
