竹椅利用竹材的柔韌性，采用竹材熱彎加工制作，充分發揮竹材受力均勻及熱彎加工容易的特點，加工簡易但具有優良的結構強度，整體設計具有極強的視覺沖擊力。竹椅設計靈感來源於明式圈椅，借鑒了其大膽的曲線結構，並通過流暢的曲線設計使椅腳與椅圈渾然天成。其椅面以竹條相見交織，使竹條受力時表現出細微彈性，壹坐下即可感受竹結實而輕巧的生命力。竹椅不但具有優美的結構，也具有輕巧的重量，可以被人壹手托起。
