「大家會說臺東是臺灣最邊緣的地方，但換個視角，從太平洋回望，臺東其實是臺灣的起頭。」臺東的生活節奏，來自島嶼土地與廣袤海洋。176公里長的海岸線綿延至山脈，為這片土地孕育豐富的自然生態與物產，帶來多元的族群和文化。文化即生活哲學，在臺東，便是誠實感受。2019臺灣文博會臺東館以「誠實感受的生活哲學」作為策展主軸，藉由採集和節奏，真實傳遞臺東的生活哲學。臺東館以自然質樸的材料建構，將遼闊的戶外景致移植到室內展場空間。無需過多的說明，而是透過感受材料的質地、感受生活的物件、感受山與海的音樂和氣味，感受一處彷彿真實活著的臺東。文化即生活哲學。生活不必隱藏，要誠實感受。

The lifestyle in Taitung features endless ocean and lands on this island. 176 km coastline, extending toward mountains and nurturing wildlives and resources, has brought diversity in ethnic group and culture. Culture is the philosophy of livings; to Taitung, it is truly experience.

2019 Taiwan Creative Expo - Taitung Pavilion is themed as Authentic Experience for Living Philosophy, which is the core concept of curation, with collection of daily objects and music of life’s pulsing rhythm to unfold living philosophy of Taitung. The Taitung Pavilion is built with raw, essential materials to extend outdoor scenery to indoor curating space. No more words, by feeling real materials, observing daily life objects, listening to music and smelling aroma from mountain and sea, it makes you seeing the vivid Taitung alive. Culture is actually philosophy of livings; All you need for livings is not conceal but truly EXPERIENCE.
