本產品是專為那些來自開發中國家且欲尋求價格親民之多功能眼睛檢查方案的眼科醫師量身打造。本產品同時更針對那些特別需要將簡便型設備隨身攜帶至視力測試營地的公共部門醫療機構而設計。C3視力檢測裝置使用一閃光燈發出光束，通過一窄縫後經由智慧型手機的相機鏡頭寄存光的反射。智慧型手機的相機鏡頭充當細隙燈的觀景器，讓使用者能夠捕捉、儲存並傳輸驗光資料。使用者能進行多項不同的檢查，例如裂隙鏡檢查、散光測試及藍光濾波器檢查，藉此診斷大多數的眼睛前部疾病。

This product is targeted to be used by Ophthalmologists in developing countries who are looking for affordable yet versatile solutions for eye testing. This is also aimed to be used by public sector medical institutes for eye testing camps that require portable and easy to use device. C3 vision uses a flashlight to generate a beam of light through a slit and register the reflection of light through a smartphone camera. The smartphone behaves as the view finder of the slit lamp which enables the user to capture store and transmit ophthalmic data. User can perform variety of exams like slit, diffuser test and blue filter for diagnosis of majority of anterior segment diseases.
C3 Vision is an affordable and portable medical device to suit the need of millions of rural population for quick and preliminary eye check up. It can be easily dis-assembled and carried anywhere and does not require electricity for charging or operation. Usage of smartphone camera with other standard peripheral components makes this product a frugal innovation in the field of Opthalmology with features like image capturing, storage and also sharing with peers for any opinion. It has a portable slit lamp which uses a smartphone to capture images/video of the anterior segment of the eye. This easy to assemble device is very helpful for ophthalmologists who regularly travel to villages and country areas for eye tests and health checkup camps.
