The URWAHN WALDWIESEL is the world’s first gravel e-bike featuring a frame produced through metal additive manufacturing, developed and made in Germany. Combined with steel tubing, this process enables flowing shapes without visible welds – visually reminiscent of carbon, technically precise.
The unique geometry and elastically mounted rear section based on the SOFTRIDE concept absorb shocks mechanically, enhancing comfort on rough terrain. Together with a topology-optimized lightweight structure, the design merges functional performance with formal clarity.
Weighing approximately 16.5 kg, the bike is powered by the Mahle X20 system: a compact rear-hub motor with 55 Nm of torque and a fully integrated 250 Wh battery offering up to 100 km of range.
All cables, controls, lighting and the optional Pinion gear system are fully integrated into the frame design, creating a clean and highly functional appearance.
