【 Description|作品介紹 】
SkyBlox Co-Living Housing is a modular prefab prototype in Kuala Lumpur addressing urban challenges of affordability, density, and social isolation. It introduces a ground-oriented co-living model with en-suite units and shared kitchens, lounges, gardens, and open-air corridors that foster community, safety, and inclusivity.
Developed in collaboration with the developer, local authorities, and communities, the design responds to real social needs. Its Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) system reduces waste, shortens build time, and allows scalable application in dense urban areas. Passive strategies such as cross-ventilation, daylighting, and rainwater harvesting enhance environmental performance and reduce energy use.
Sustainable design features—like pocket gardens and edible landscapes—promote well-being and reconnect residents with nature. The form is minimal, modular, and climate-responsive, offering a dignified and calming living environment.
SkyBlox rethinks affordable housing through technical innovation, creative design, and human-centered values—proving modular architecture can be beautiful, functional, and socially impactful.
