【Description|

“The continuous flow of light and shadow weaves through the tranquil ancient path, illuminating and organizing its serene passage.” The "Path of Serene Light – Chih-nan Temple Bamboo and Cypress Path Lighting Project" combines environmental protection and cultural heritage, aiming to enhance the nighttime environment of the path through sustainable lighting design while highlighting its natural and historical value. This project is also committed to being environmentally friendly and protecting biodiversity, balancing lighting aesthetics with energy conservation in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It employs low-temperature LED light sources, energy-efficient, and low-scale lighting, with glare prevention and directional control to avoid light pollution. A time control system turns off non-essential lighting after 9 p.m., protecting the natural rhythms of local flora and fauna. Six-meter-high organic-shaped light poles, integrated with the natural landscape, replace standard streetlights, reducing light pollution and glare impact on pedestrians. The feature lighting of 39 stone lanterns restores the classical beauty of the path. Another highlight is the stairway lighting, which incorporates the local cultural design of Chih-nan Temple's gourd motif. The DMX lighting control system adjusts the ambiance of pavilion lighting according to the seasons, bringing the path to life throughout the year. The lighting not only provides clear guidance but also connects stone lanterns, entrance arches, and various key points along the path, creating a rhythmic nighttime landscape.
