【Description|作品介紹】

Taiwan, whose coastline has been affected by wind and waves for a long time, has installed tetrapod around the islands to protect Taiwan's land. However, while these Cement blocks provide protection, they also create environmental problems. Therefore, we improved the original shortcomings and added its advantages. We designed MARINE ECO BRICKS, which is made by using the new 3D printing technology of cement, as a new type of coastal protection that combines wave elimination, environmental protection, appreciation, ecological restoration, and cost reduction. Oyster shell powder is used as raw material to replace the original gravel. At the same time of solving the social problems, the aquarium is also used to simulate the marine ecology to do a series of tests to ensure that the actual put into the ocean can effectively show its function. MARINE ECO BRICKS is not only in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 9, 11 and 14, but in the future, we expect to be able to apply our marine eco-bricks concept to a wider range of construction projects, not just marine defense.

臺灣是一個四面環海的國家,其海岸線長期受到風浪所影響,因此島嶼周圍都設置了消波塊,以保護台灣的土地。然而,這些水泥塊在起到防護作用的同時,也帶來了環境問題。藉此我們改善了其原先的缺點,增加它的優點。

我們設計的海洋生態磚(MARINE ECO BRICKS)是利用新型的水泥3D列印技術去做製作,為一種集消浪、環保、觀賞、復育、減少成本為一體的新型海岸防護。以蚵殼粉為原料取代砂石。解決社會問題的同時,也利用水族箱模擬海洋生態做了一系列的測試,內容包括「水泥調配比例」、「模擬珊瑚-水草生長狀況」、「魚兒生活情況」,確保實際放到了海洋能有效的展現它的功能。

海洋生態磚(MARINE ECO BRICKS)不僅符合聯合國永續發展目標(SDG)第9項、第11項和第14項。到了未來,期望能夠將我們海洋生態磚的各種概念,應用於更廣泛的建設項目之中,不僅限於海洋防護。
