【Description｜作品介紹】
HOO! series is an innovative articulation teaching tool designed specifically for speech-language therapists. It combines toys, story, and electronic circuits to offer children a unique interactive experience. Through engaging blowing games, it aims to strengthen basic oral motor skills, helping to improve articulation disorders and unclear speech, and also supporting future language development. Articulation disorders are common language issues in children, affecting about 50% to 70% of those with language problems. During our interviews, we learned that, although blowing might seem like a simple action, it can effectively enhance children's oral muscles, improve the coordination of speech and breathing, and serve as a crucial foundation for sound production. Therefore, we decided to center the design of our teaching tool around blowing games. Additionally, we found that modern parents generally prefer their children to have limited exposure to digital devices. HOO！系列產品是一款專為語言治療師所設計的創新構音教具，將玩具、故事和電子電路結合，希望帶給孩童全新的互動體驗，並藉由有趣的吹氣互動遊戲增強口腔基本動作，幫助改善構音異常和咬字不清的問題，也助於未來語言發展。 構音異常是常見的兒童語言問題，約佔所有語言問題小孩的50%-70%。訪談後，我們了解到吹氣雖然看似是個簡單的動作，卻能有效提升孩童的口腔肌肉、增進說話與呼吸的協調性，同時也是幫助發音的重要基礎，因此我們決定以吹氣遊戲作為此教具的設計主軸。另外，我們也發現現代父母普遍不希望孩子過度接觸太多3C產品，因此我們希望可以透過全新的互動方式，改善現有乏味的訓練模式。
