Design concept description "The Taiwan Streetscape Shirt" is a design that incorporates common street scenes in Taiwan into floral shirts. The general public often holds stereotypes about Taiwan's streetscape, associating it with negative characteristics such as dirtiness, chaos, and aging. However, these ordinary elements in daily life simply showcase the living cultural customs of this land in an unfiltered way. Despite their messiness, they are an integral part of the lives of Taiwanese people. We noticed that the chaotic nature of Taiwanese streetscapes coincides with the diverse and complex composition of floral shirts. Elements such as utility poles and signs are intertwined in the streetscape, similar to the patterns on a floral shirt. Therefore, we combined the two to interpret Taiwan's streetscapes with patterns. These patterns feature a blend of Taiwan's street elements and colors. From afar, they are patterns; up close, street elements emerge. Through the concept of "The Taiwan Streetscape Shirt," we aim to transform people's imagination and perceptions of Taiwan's street scenes, allowing Taiwanese individuals to find a sense of identity and connection with this land.
