珊瑚椅

此設計與台灣玩具回收系統建構的《台灣玩具圖書館協會》攜手合作，將回收「廢棄玩具」再製產品，並藉由循環經濟與設計思維，讓塑膠持續在產業系統中循環，進而實踐永續發展。 設計概念以珊瑚與海洋的保護為整個論述的基石。起初，讓⺠眾了解珊瑚原本在生態系統中所扮演的關鍵位置；現況，珊瑚⽩化對環境破壞的衝擊；轉化，帶出節能減碳、永續發展的重要；⾏動呼籲，⿎勵⺠眾用支持「珊瑚椅」來注重珊瑚保育的工作，並將減碳、永續等環境意識向下扎根，而融入孩子的成長、生活之中。 珊瑚椅設計採雙面不同高度設計，一面低椅腳供孩童使用，另一面高椅腳供給成人使用。模組化延伸設計，可將椅子堆疊形成大型城市共享椅。

Coral Chair

In this collaboration with the ‘Taiwan Toy Library Association’, which devoted to constructing a toy recycling system in Taiwan. we aim to repurposing "waste toys" into recycled products, leveraging the principles of circular economy and design thinking to ensure the continuous circulation of plastic within the industrial system.

The design concept is based on the coral and the ocean protection. Initially, we seek to raise awareness among the public about the critical role that coral plays in ecosystems. We highlight the environmental impact of coral bleaching and the importance of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable development. We encourage individuals to support the "Coral Chair" and prioritize coral conservation. And integrating environmental consciousness such as carbon reduction and sustainability into children's growth and everyday life.

The Coral Chair features a dual-sided design with different heights. One side has shorter legs for children's use, while the other side has taller legs for adults. With a modular extension design, the chairs can be stacked to create large shared seating areas in the city.
