【作品介紹 Description】

一個豐富的小花園，就位在兒童牙科副建築旁邊，幾十年來生態繁茂，而副建築也和主診所以及業主的家族之屋相連。

私人花園設有圍牆，以屏蔽診所訪客的視線，不過磚頭之間的縫隙仍可讓林木鑽進建築和延伸到街上。另一方面，以和圍牆垂直的方向來說，並沒有模糊的障礙物或是圍欄擋住視線，因此人們可以看見花園的層次和診所的診間。診間和院子交錯，為小病人們提供舒適的綠色氛圍。樹兒和灌木也作為各區域的隱私保障。延伸的「山與谷」屋頂就像是社區裡的人字形屋頂，在這個混融的場景之上漂浮著，並為訪客創造出高聳的頂蓬。

我們的目標是打造一個有著各種景觀的空間，這些奇景以有機的方式和其自然脈絡連結，並和現有狀態中的重要元素融合。

Clinic in the Woods / TYO
Clinic in the woods, a pediatric dental annex, was planned adjacent to a small but rich garden thriving for decades, connecting the main clinic and the family house of the client. We aimed to create a place organically integrated with the essential elements of its natural context- a clinic standing along with the garden.

While the walls arranged against the private garden prevent direct visual access from the clinic, the gaps between the blocks allow the forest flow into the building and out to the street. Perpendicular to these walls, on the other hand, there is no opaque structure interrupting the view that one can see the layers of plants and rooms across the clinic. Mixed up with the courtyards, the treatment rooms offer a comfortable green atmosphere for the little patients. The trees and shrubs also work as a privacy safeguards. The continuing mountain-and-valley roof, resembling the gables of its neighborhood, embraces these blended scenes and further extends out to form deep canopies for repose.

Surrounded by affluent greenery, not only does the clinic create a relaxing atmosphere for young patients but it actually proposes a space to grow the children in the community.
