這是一個木造的社區中心，它就位在民俗博物館旁，是社區的一個象徵。建築物的外觀帶出一種開放式的空間（廣場），並傳達兩種意涵：廣場位在博物館前方，它也是根據測繪學架構而出。建築物則可從兩種角度來欣賞：地形測繪和博物館本身。屋頂向下收攏，創造出一種透視感，並強化了博物館的象徵功能。至於三角形的半戶外空間，其支撐樑柱的柱條角度逐漸變化，給人一種有機的印象。小鎮的核心產業是林木業，因此打造了一個巨大的木造架構，使用小鎮生產的木材，並運用小鎮發展出的技術，各種來自鎮上的木材都添了上去。這個位址鄰近河流，因此也使用石頭來建造牆面和人行道。其他和小鎮歷史相呼應的素材，也被用來打造新的地景。每個空間的設計，都和小鎮上其他社區中心有所區別。這項計畫旨在重新編織歷史過往和新穎事物之間的關係，藉以打造小鎮的未來。

This is a wooden community center adjacent to the Folk Museum, a symbol of the community. The shape of the architecture creates an open space with double meaning: a square in front of the Museum and a square framed by the topography and architecture from two angles: the topography and the Museum. The roof, which gradually lowers toward the Museum, creates a sense of perspective, and enhances the symbolism of the Museum. Triangular semi-outdoor space has an organic impression by gradually changing the angle of the canes supporting the beams. Since the town's core industry is forestry, a large span wooden structure is built using lumber that can be produced in the town and the traditional techniques of the town., and a wide variety of wood from the town is affixed. this site is located by the river, so stones from construction are affixed to the walls and pavement. Materials related to the history of the town are used to create the new landscape. Each space was designed to be separated from the other community centers in the town. This is a project to reweave the relationship between what has been inherited from the past and what is new and unprecedented for the future of this town.
