Cheng Chung, Yao / Convener

Founder of T1 Design

  Master of Architecture at the School of Architecture of Pratt Institute (USA). Cheng Chung, Yao founded and chaired the Dept. of Interior Space Design of Shih Chien Univ. Taiwan from 1991 to 1998. Additionally, he found and directs t1 design since 1999. His well-known works are The Plaza of National Theater and Concert Hall, The Exhibition of British Museum and Vienna Museum in National Palace Museum (Taiwan), City Plaza of Taiwan Pavilion in Expo 2010 Shanghai China, Taiwan Design Center and Red Dot Design Museum Taipei.
  He used to be the Chief Executive of the Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA) 2005 General Assembly in Taipei, Board Member of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), president of the Chinese Society of Interior Designers (CSID) and international Jury of Red Dot Award from2012 to 2014 and 2017 to 2018.


Hugo Dworzak

Co-founder of Architekturwerkstatt dworzak-grabher

  Hugo Dworzak completed his Master degree of Architecture in Pratt institute NYC in 1989. Hugo has over 30 years practical and teaching experience in Architecture. 
  He also won many Architecture awards, such as Austrian Architecture Award, Best Architect Award, Häuser Award, Genius Building Award, Österreichischer Bauherrenpreis, and so on.
  Hugo also has being lecturer or guest professor in many university, eg. University of Innsbruck, University of New York_Buffalo, University of Liechtenstein.


Chung-Twn, Kuo

Founder of LEF. Laboratory for Environment & Form

  Chung-Twn, Kuo brought a huge impact on Yilan’s landscaping evolution with her first project Dongshan River Water Park in 1986. Holding a leading part in the planning of Luodong Sports Park, KUO made “Yilan experience” become the most significant impact on Taiwan’s landscaping evolution. 
LEF. Laboratory for Environment & Form, the company established by KUO and her husband Mr. Horigome Kenji, has designed and built lots of large landscape architects since 1993. 
  By respecting the nature environment and cultural history, as well as considering the common needs of people in various ages, KUO and her team are able to create landscape projects with more aesthetic and local feature. That’s a crucial element of making her projects popular attractions and award-winners throughout the country.


Deniz Hasirci

Professor of Dept. of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Izmir University of Economics

  Hasirci received her PhD from the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2005 from Bilkent University, Turkey.
In 2001 she was a Fulbright visiting scholar at NCSU, USA. 
  She began working at Izmir University of Economics in 2006 and became Professor in 2019.
  She was the head of this department for seven years, involved in the IFI membership as well as signing the IFI declaration for the city of Izmir, Turkey processes. 
  She teaches the PhD courses, Integrated Design Approaches and Environment-Behavior Research. Her research fields include, participatory design, environment-behavior studies, Turkish modern interior design and furniture.  
  She is one of the founding members of the Docomomo-Turkey-Interior Design Committee, and a committee member of Docomomo International Specialization Committee on Interior Design (ISC-ID). She is also a member of Chamber of Interior Architects of Turkey, and EDRA (Environmental Design Research Association).


Luisa Bocchietto

World Design Organization (WDO) Presidency 2017~2019

  Luisa has a double degree of Architecture at the Milan Poly and Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). She specialize not only in urban renewal and urban planning, but also curation and projects for exhibitions and international events, in Italy and abroad.
Luisa used to be a visiting professor of multiple universities and served as President of ADI Industrial Design Association in Italy, from 2008 to 2014. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Board of directors of ICSID - the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design, which in 2017 changed its name to WDO.


Jooyun Kim

Professor, Department of Industrial Design, Hongik University

  In 2000, Jooyun Kim created the term “Spatial Design” for the first time in Korea, and is expanding the scope of activities in the field. 
  He was the Dean of the Graduate School of Industrial Art from 2016-2018.Worked as a research professor at Pratt Institute in the U.S. Jooyun served as the president of KISD (Korean Institute of Spatial Design) in 2017-2018, the president of KOSID (Korea Society of Interior Architects/Designers) in 2011-2012, and the executive board member of IFI (International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers) from 2007-2011.


Shu-Chang, Kung

Architect | Professor, Graduate Institute of Architecture, NYCU

  Shu-Chang, Kung is currently a professor at the Institute of Architecture of National Yangming Jiaotong University, (NYCU), the co-facilitator of the Public Service Group of Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), and a municipal consultant of the Taipei City Government. He won the 8th “Outstanding Architect“ of Taiwan in 2007 and the winner of the 24th "Taipei Culture Award" in 2020.
  Shu-Chang, Kung received M.Arch (1992) and M.Des. (1993) from GSD, Harvard University, U.S.A. In 1997-2008. Kung established AURA Architects & Associates in Taipei. The works of AURA always challenge the double entity and dialogue between architecture and nature in different scales, materials or site situations. His works has received many international awards.
