小隱於野、大隱於市

本案位於竹科大門口金面山公園，基地約1600坪，是市區難得的大基地，突破以往景觀僅用於填補建築縫隙的模式狀態，設計想像將周遭公園自然地融入於環境之中，周遭是一片原始林山坡地，在空照圖上看，兩棟建築恍如藝術裝置座落於野地山坡公園之中。

地形變化在東西向、南北向各有4米的高低差，設計者堅持不在區內出現任何斷續的空間（如階梯、擋土牆等人工設施） 盡可能以等高線地形緩坡形成的漫步路徑消解掉高低差，形成更浪漫的森林步道.....

在地形緩降的過程中，微形的40公分的高程差則成為地景座椅，或又可稱為地景藝術Land Art

在植栽設計上，因應新竹強風乾燥，盡可能沿用原地域常見的野花草，如五節笀、甜根子、狼尾草，一方面隱喻野放山林的氛圍，一方面也降低日後維管成本，喬木設計以台灣櫸木、楓香、青楓等台灣原生植物群為基底，輔以黃楓呈現四季詩意的自然變化。

全區的透水石礫固結鋪面，期能保存雨水，引導水流進原土層，減少地表逕流與噴灌系統，為地球盡一份心力。

This case sits in the Jinmianshan Park near the front gate of the Hsinchu Science Industrial Park, with a building lot size of 5402 square meters. Indeed, a large lot in an urban area. Instead of just using landscape to fill the gaps around the buildings, the design concept is to incorporate the lands from the surrounding park into its landscape. From an aerial photo, its two buildings look like installation art sitting comfortably in the park of a natural hillside surrounded by a vast forest.

There is a 4-meter height difference in both its lands of east-west & north-south directions. The architect insisted on not having any intermittent space in the lot (artificial construction such as stairs and retaining walls) and making the best use of the gentle slope at contour lines whenever possible, to transform it into a strolling path and offset the height difference. Thus, creating an even more romantic walking trail in the forest.

The entire area is paved with permeable gravels for conserving rainfall and allowing water to enter the soil horizon to reduce surface runoff and for use by its sprinkling irrigation systems, trying to contribute to the Earth.
