【作品介紹 Description】

飼養寵物的風氣隨高齡化及少子化的比率增加而提升，其中飼養種類以犬類居冠。根據美國獸醫外科學會 (American College of Veterinary Surgeons) 指出，有高達四分之一的狗狗受骨關節炎所苦，而不可逆的關節問題，需倚賴手術或輔具協助其生活；而犬隻輔具多需因應不同的體型與症狀進行客製化設計與調整，製作困難且造成飼主極大負擔，影響飼主使用意願。
 
GO WALK整合犬隻關節症狀需求，設計模組化犬隻生活移動輔具，依犬隻類型設計有大、中、小三種尺寸，每一尺寸皆可依犬隻體型進行調整，貼合身形達到輔具最大功效；透過模組化配件設計，讓飼主可依需求、環境選擇輪椅、提帶等輔具進行使用，減緩犬隻移動的負擔。

The trend of keeping pets increases with the influence of aging society and the declining birthrate. Dogs, among all pets are the most popular pet choice. According to the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, up to 1/4 dogs will suffer from osteoarthritis during their lifetime. The joint problem is irreversible and requireing surgery or assisted equipment to help them to walk. However, the existed assisted equipment use to be customized individually according to sizes and symptoms. It is very expensive and difficult to make, and caused great burden to the owners therefore affects their willingness to use.
 
GO WALK integrates the dogs’needs with joint symptoms, and provides modular mobile assisting equipment for dog. Based on the assistive clothing, there are L, M, S three sizes and each size can be adjusted to fits the body shape to achieve the maximum assistant effect. Through the modular accessory design, the owner can choose weather using the wheelchair, strap and other accessories according to dog’s needs. Go Walk could provide walking assistant and reduce the burden for dog's while they are walking around.
