我們知道，一個輸液系統中，已知并可以確定的量是輸液袋中藥水的容量，那麼藥水的重量我們也很容易得知，只是未把它標明，所以下一步我們要改進的緊緊是將藥水的重量標註在輸液袋上。如果將輸液滴壺上方的輸液系統看做是一個整體，則藥水、輸液袋和部分輸液器重量的總和是它的毛重，藥水的重量則為它的淨重。記錄輸液系統開始時的毛重，隨著輸液的進行，藥水慢慢減少，毛重也慢慢減少，當毛重減少了藥水的淨重時，可以判斷輸液結束. 我們知道，一個輸液系統中，已知并可以確定的量是輸液袋中藥水的容量，那麼藥水的重量我們也很容易得知，只是未把它標明。如果將輸液器滴壺上方的輸液系統看做一個整體，則藥水、輸液袋和部分輸液器重量的總和是它毛重，藥水的重量則為它的淨重（N.W.）。記錄輸液系統開始時的毛重，隨著輸液的進行，藥水慢慢減少，毛重也慢慢減少，當毛重減少了藥水的淨重時，可以判斷輸液結束，系統發出警報，提醒看護人員關閉輸液管或更換藥水，這就是這款輸液報警器的工作原理。
When the patient is given a transfusion, they are usually quite weak and need to be looked after. When the solution runs out under no care, it would bring the patient inconvenience and even potential danger. This device would trigger off the alarm when the infusion liquid runs out, prompting caregivers to close the iv or replace the potion. It’s a big relief for patients as well as caregivers. As we know it, in a transfusion system, the capacity of solution is known and can be determined, so is the weight of the solution. But it’s usually not specified, so the improvement we made is to specify the weight of the solution on the transfusion bag. If we see the device at the top of the infusion system as a whole, then the solution, the infusion bag itself, and rest of the device add up to its gross weight. The weight of the potion is naturally its net weight. Record the gross weight of the whole system at the beginning. And as the solution slowly decrease, the gross weight would also gradually reduce. When the gross weight equals the original weight minus the net weight, it can be said that it’s the end of the transfusion. The device would set off an alarm to remind caregivers to close the iv or replace the potion instead. This is the working principle of this infusion alarm.
